More Exhibitors in September

Dozens of exhibitors, writes Artnews, will be new to the Armory Show, one of the most important art fairs in the USA. More than 240 e xhibitorsfrom around the world are expected to be there. That would be a significant increase. Last year there were only 157 galleries, 50 exhibitors showed online. In terms of numbers, the Armory Show is on a par with Art Basel, but the audience is not quite as high-caliber. And: Mega galleries are hardly to be seen. Of the really big ones, only David Zwirner wants to be there.
